Former Prime Minister Sharom has been in a coma since January 2006. His son Omri says that Mr. Sharon follows things with his eyes, watches television and responds to questions with a slight tightening of his hand.
Ariel Sharon, who turned 79 last month, suffered a brain hemorrhage on Jan. 4, 2006, while he was prime minister, and lost consciousness.
His son Omri Sharon said: ‘Father follows things with his eyes, he watches television, mainly National Geographic and other nature programs. He responds not only with his eyes, but with a firming of his hand.’
