Hamas Dirty Tricks

Recording indicates Hamas used Arabic media Center in Gaza as launch-pad for Grad missiles

IDF withdraws all forces from Gaza Strip

Israel declares zero tolerance for any future attacks from Gaza or new arms smuggling into Gaza Strip

A rare recording indicates that Hamas did use Arabic media Center in Gaza as a launch-pad for launching Grad missiles at Israel during the recent fighting. The recording was broadcast for the first time on Israel Radio on January 21st. IsraCast says more and more indications are coming to light about a deliberate Hamas policy of exploiting civilians and then to blame Israel for 'war crimes'.

These are the translations of the real-time recordings in Arabic broadcast by Israel Radio. The person speaking is a Hanan al-Nasri, a reporter for the Al-Arabiya TV network in Gaza. She was talking to her producers and not broadcasting at the time.

After Israeli aircraft dropped thousands of leaflets warning Palestinians civilians that Hamas sites were about to be bombed Hamas mobilize civilians, even children to rush to the areas as human shields

"That was a missile fired from here! Wow, that was fired from here from the bottom of our building! That rocket fired from here was a Grad from this building!"

And this was the second recording of her telephone conversation from the Al-Arabiya  broadcast studio in the Gaza media center:

"The missile was fired now just now as if it was fired from just below our office! The noise was very loud! I thought it was IDF shelling but it was a missile launch!"

Hamas Terrorists in Gaza Strip

Those two recordings of the Arabic TV reporter were made during the first days of the war. The IDF later shelved the source of fire injuring several of the media personnel in the building. The logical conclusion of these secret recordings of the Arabic correspondent is clear. Hamas deliberately launched Grad missiles from the Arabic media Center in Gaza during the war and then accused Israel of attacking foreign correspondence when the IDF returned fire. This appears to be only part of a deliberate policy by Hamas to exploit civilians during the recent fighting. There are numerous other examples that have been documented.

Hamas packed explosives into at least one school where Palestinian children were actually studying or had later taken shelter. The ruse was for Hamas fighters to draw IDF soldiers into the school which would then be detonated with the with the goal of killing and wounding the Israeli soldiers who had entered.

Hamas also stored rockets and explosives inside the private homes of families and public buildings. Hamas used civilian sites such as hospitals, schools and residential areas as cover for launching rockets or hiding Hamas leaders.

When the IDF made thousands of telephone calls to Palestinian civilian civilians urging them to evacuate areas before IDF attacks, Hamas actually opened fire on civilians trying to flee the area.

After Israeli aircraft dropped thousands of leaflets warning Palestinians civilians that Hamas sites were about to be bombed Hamas mobilize civilians, even children to rush to the areas as human shields. In other cases, Hamas forced children to accompany them while moving from one area to another.

Hamas fighters would open fire as IDF troops advanced and then rush into a nearby building. When the soldiers pursued them inside, the Hamas guerrillas who had already escaped through a secret underground tunnel, blew up the building with previously explosives planted previously, injuring the Israeli soldiers. This necessitated IDF shelling of suspected sabotaged buildings before soldiers could be sent in during combat.

Hamas also packed thousands of steel pellets into their homemade Qassam rockets to increase their deadly effect. At present, an examination is under way at Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv , where a Palestinian girl from the Gaza Strip is now being treated for a serious head injury suffered during the fighting. Although her father has blamed IDF, it is possible that her head injury was caused by a pellet from a Qassam rockets that went astray.

The Israeli message is clear – there will now be zero tolerance not only for any attacks from Gaza but also any new attempts to smuggle arms into the Gaza Strip"

Meanwhile, all IDF troops have now evacuated all of the Gaza Strip and all reserve soldiers have been sent back home. IDF regular forces are poised on the border to cope with any Palestinian violations of the cease- fire. Gen. (res.) Amos Gilad, who has conducted the cease- fire negotiations with Egypt has said: " Israel has no intention of allowing another Hamastan, supported by Iran, from again rising in the Gaza Strip" . The Israeli message is clear – there will now be zero tolerance not only for any attacks from Gaza but also any new attempts to smuggle arms into the Gaza Strip".
